  • The Veritas Awards are South Africa's most prestigious and comprehensive competition for wines currently on the market. A Veritas Award is an unmistakable designation of exceptional quality.
    Over 1738 wines were entered in the 2005 competition of which, the following medals were awarded:
    43 Double Gold, 105 Gold, 401 Silver and 691 bronze medals. Wines are judged by local and international judges on a 20 point rating, 15 = Bronze, 16 = Silver, 17 = Gold and 17+ with consensus amongst the judges are awarded double gold.
